Jim's ARM Stuff
Here I collect my programming snippets
and whatnots related to the ARM processor. Very much focused on
Debian linux on the NetWinder since that is my hardware platform and
OS of choice.
- build machine available
- I have a StrongARM 110 which I make available on the internet
for developers to use. It is currently set up with the Debian
potato release and a 2.2.13+ kernel. Send mail to jim@federated.com to get an
account. Please tell me why you want access, give me a
non-anonymous e-mail, and suggest an account name for yourself.
- Debian ARM buildd page
- The output from the ARM buildd.
- nwtimer-0.1.tar.gz
- A library for timing with 15ns resolution and 5 hour range on
the NetWinder or other 21285 bridged ARM systems. Is use the
phase shift between two limited range timers to synthesize a timer with
greater range and equal resolution. Ok, you didn't need to know
that, but I finally worked out the math and had to tell
someone. :-)
- no url yet
- Hand coded functions for memcpy, strcpy, strlen, et. al. for the
NetWinder. Not ready for distribution, but very promising.
I've done memcpy and have significant speed ups.
